The Evolife softener is made up of a resin tank and a salt tank. Hard water passes through the ion exchange resin. The water is stripped of calcium and magnesium ions which are replaced by sodium ions. The hard water is then transformed into softened water for the whole house.
As soon as the softener resin is saturated with limestone, the softener regenerates. A mixture of salt water then passes through the resin to allow it to be washed and rinsed. This is the regeneration phase, it takes place every 7 to 10 days during the night.
You thus benefit from softened water that permanently removes traces of limescale. You preserve your pipes and household appliances and you reduce your consumption of cleaning products. You also appreciate the comfort of soft skin
